All three of these accidents happened on the same corner at 3 different events. Racers Matt Binns #47 and Darryn Wilbur #10 crashed at a national event which had soft barriers deployed at the corner. Shannonville hosts seven regional races, and two national races during the summer. Only for the nationals are the air fences are used due to the lack of funding. The third set were taken at the same corner as the other ones but at a regional race several weeks later in the summer. Fortunately, the racer, Brent Strong #81, will be back on the track this season, having suffered shoulder injuries. When asked if he believed his injuries would be less severe had the fence been in place. His answer was YES, in no uncertain terms! Photos by Flair Photo.
